Co-operation with the Dubai Green Economy Partnership

On behalf of the Foundation for Circular Economy, Máté Kriza, the chairman of the board of trustees signed a memorandum of understanding on March 27, 2014 in Vancouver with Mr. Waleed Ali Ahned Salman, chairman of the Dubai Green Economy Partnership.

On behalf of the Foundation for Circular Economy, Máté Kriza, the chairman of the board of trustees signed a memorandum of understanding on March 27, 2014 in Vancouver with Mr. Waleed Ali Ahned Salman, chairman of the Dubai Green Economy Partnership. The DGEP is the first Public-Private Partnership program in the Middle East region that aims to enable and support green trade and investment growth across national, regional and global markets. It was launched in 2012 by his Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and he is the Patron of the DGEP. The founding members include leading government and private organizations and DGEP is expanding its member base and global partnerships to create new opportunities for governments, cities, businesses, and divers stakeholders who pursue and work to drive sustainable and green economic growth.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the two parties shall co-opeate in the fields of:
a) knowledge sharing
b) capacity building
c) joint promotions of solutions and technology showcasing
d) introduction to members and partners
